Bowl Mosaic Workshop.
Lovely indoor mosaic bowl to make together with your mum, or for yourself or as a mother's day gift. (Bowl size 30cm x 30cm): This is a one day mosaic workshop. 
 
This is a wonderful opportunity to discover how to mosaic a bowl, choose your own easy, medium or hard level. No experience is necessary, just some commitment and enthusiasm, although the ability to cut and stick small tile pieces is a good skill to have. The bowl is for decorative purposes only. All instructions are given on how to mosaic the bowl, with patience and kindness in a relaxed and friendly environment.  All the equipment and materials that are needed are provided including safety equipment such as gloves and goggles.
 
Three designs are available to choose at a easy, medium or harder level. These workshops are aimed at different levels of ability depending upon what design you choose.  The actual making of the mosaic is very easy but by making the design more detailed it can become a bit more difficult to make regarding the amount of tiles to cut.
 
I will walk you through every stage of making the mosaic bowl from creating the design, to transferring it onto the bowl, to cutting and choosing tiles, gluing and grouting.
 
Lunch breaks are included, my aim is to provide a relaxed and caring environment with tea, coffee and biscuits given by an experienced, qualified and fully insured mosaic artist. This is a 3 to 4 hour workshop, you can use pre-existing designs or create your own. 
 
 
Clear instructions are given on how to use wheeled tile cutters, health and safety equipment and advice, a wide choice of tiles, a bowl and coaster to mosaic, grout, glue, all the equipment needed, a materials list to help you know how to make further mosaics at home and a wide variety of mosaic and craft books to look through as well (if you have time). Cost for one person is £130 or the cost for two bookings is £120 each.
